Project Sourcing:Planning and implementing programs
We work with local NGOs, scientific organisations and government bodies to source projects in Borneo.
We aim to provide a link between these projects and organisations in the UK or elsewhere who provide volunteer opportunities.
By building long term relationships in country we aim to provide worthwhile sustainable projects which are also rewarding and enjoyable for volunteers as well as providing ongoing support to the projects themselves.
We are also able to support the projects by providing the infrastructure for them to take on volunteers whilst building in the safety and backup standards expected by the volunteer organisations.

GVI have an extensive network
of volunteer opportunities around the world. We have
worked with them to develop placements in Borneo. As well as sourcing the projects we have set these projects up from conception, through
risk assessment and planning to running in-country training
and backup for the volunteers out in Borneo.
