Bringing all our experience with travel companies, universities, adventure race providers and school expeditions to bear we are now offering a small number of unique expeditions for individual adventure travelers.
It's increasingly hard to get off the beaten track and experience the challenge and uncertainty of a real expedition, but with Fieldskills you get exactly that.

What these trips ARE:
- Challenging: Some of the trips are a huge physical challenge - you may need to train and prepare and be ready for some blood, sweat and tears. Others may be less physical but have the innate challenges of remote locations, basic living and unknown outcomes.
- Fun: We are not in this for challenge alone - we love what we do, we love to learn about the environments we work in, meet great local people and enjoy each others company - we hope you will too.
- Things we want to do!: you won't find sulky tour leaders trogging round a circuit for the 100th time - we are passionate and excited about the trips and look forward to sharing them with you.
What these trips are NOT:
- Pre-packaged tours: we will set up the logistics and support, food, specialist equipment, highly experienced leaders and do all we can to make the expeditions a success. BUT we are not a travel agent - you will need to arrange your own flights and during the trip pitch in to make the expedition happen.
- 100% certain: the joy of expeditions is outcomes are not 100% certain. The trips are well planned and organised with contingencies in place. HOWEVER - these are rarely or never attempted routes - so we can't always tell you exactly what will be happening at 3pm of day 5, we may not even achieve all of the stated objectives due to weather, illness, plan changes or 101 other possibilities. But we will use all our expertise, knowledge and skill to give us the best chances and to get a good outcome where things have to change... and you'll have the satisfaction and challenge of being on a real journey.
- Mass tourism: we run a limited number of trips in the year - with itineraries used only once or twice - and in some cases being genuine firsts. You'll be by and large off the tourist track - and we limit expedition places - teams will be no more than 12 and often smaller.
And remember - any questions, we're always happy to hear from you.
