With such a unique environment of course come unique dangers. What are the latest snake bite protocols? How exactly do you get a leech off? And just what is the problem with furry caterpillars? - come along and find out...

ONE DAY COURSE – Tropical Forest Travel:
This course is a suitable introduction to working or travelling safely in
the tropics. It covers the key essential skills to ensure an enjoyable and safe trip.
It is based on our forest safety course which has been adopted
by the Royal Society’s South East Asia Rainforest Research
Program as the standard course to prepare students to operate
safely and successfully in the rain forest. The one day course is ideal for travellers wanting to learn more about the jungle and how to stay safe during your time there. Cost £80 (£70 for students)
TWO DAY COURSE – Living and Leading in the Rain Forest:
This course follows up day one with the further skills required if you plan to live and camp in the rain forest or plan, organise and lead trips. The two day course is therefore ideal for expedition leaders, researchers carrying out fieldwork or teachers going on school expeditions.
We will consider more practical
